Анотація
Objective: to evaluate the possibility of using a simulation model of crystallization to model the formation of the metal structure in the casting process of freezing
Research methods in the work: computer experiments, thermal analysis.
The process of forming the structure of copper when freezing it on the mold is studied. A set of computer experiments was conducted, the results of which showed the dynamics of the formation of solid phase centers and the formed structure of the metal.
The experimental results obtained in the work and the established physical laws are of practical interest for further research and improvement of foundry freezing technology.
