The rise of artificial intelligence has changed the educational landscape forever. A large language model ChatGPT opens so many opportunities for everyone, still bringing hidden threats which may be harmful especially in educational sphere. The paper aims to explore the issue of incorporating ChatGPT in education by looking through advantages and disadvantages analyzing its impact on instruction and student engagement.

In conclusion, the incorporation of ChatGPT into learning and instruction is what is happening all over the world, and it is unavoidable. In order to better exploit the advantages ChatGPT definitely has, it is recommended to develop a policy of ethical usage in classroom, the assist students in their queries and guide in their personalized learning experiences. A cautious approach requires the emphasis on media literacy skills which are imperative for learners to detect inaccuracies and develop critical thinking.
