dc.description.abstractCet article étudie l'apparition et le fonctionnement des euphémismes et des dysphémismes ukrainiens genrés dans les textes littéraires ukrainiens écrits entre la fin du XVIIIe siècle à nos jours. Il comporte une dimension historique, culturelle et politique dans la mesure où il s’attache à décrire l'influence de la politique linguistique, de la culture et contexte historique de la société ukrainienne sur le développement, la formation et le fonctionnement des figures de style analysées. L’analyse des données met en évidence une nette prévalence du dysphémisme sur l’euphémisme dans les œuvres des auteurs étudiés. Par ailleurs, on constate que la majorité des entrées appartient au registre familier et vulgaire issu des différents sociolectes (éléments jargonniers et argotiques). L’étude des euphémismes et des dysphémismes permet de mettre au jour les représentations des hommes et des femmes qui avaient cours à certaines époques et persistent au sein de la société ukrainienne d’aujourd’hui.uk
dc.description.abstractotherЦя стаття вивчає формування та функціонування гендерно і прагматично маркованих одиницт – евфемізмів та дисфемізмів (дискурсивноконтекстуальний феномен, протилежний в асоціативно-денотативному аспекті евфемізму) в українських літературних текстах, написаних у період з кінця ХVIII століття до сьогодні. Гендерний підхід у лінгвістичному дослідженні забезпечує отримання нових даних про мову та її функціонування, зокрема це стосується мовних засобів, які використовуються для вибудови ґендерної ідентичності, а також впливу ґендерного фактора на вибір тих чи інших мовних одиниць. Наголошено, що гендер як соціолінгвістична категорія співвідносяться із загальнолюдським і ґендерним рівнем у межах певної мови. Наше дослідження ґрунтується на історичному, соціокультурному і політичниому вимірах, оскільки намагається описати вплив мовної політики, культури та історичного контексту, що панував в українському суспільстві у зазначений період, на розвиток, формування та функціонування аналізованих стилістичних фігур. Аналіз даних засвідчує чітку перевагу дисфемізмів у роботах авторів досліджуваного періоду. Зазначено, що більшість прикладів належить до розмовного і зниженого стилю, що походять із різних соціолектів (жаргонізми та елементи арго). Представлене дослідження евфемізмів і дисфемізмів також розкриває уявлення про чоловіків і жінок, які були типовими у минулих століттях і зберігаються в українському суспільстві сьогодні.uk
dc.description.abstractotherThis article examines the formation and functioning of gender specific euphemisms and dysphemisms (i.e., referring to men or women) in Ukrainian literary texts written in the period from the end of the eighteenth century to the present day. The concept of dysphemism is a discursively contextual phenomenon and opposite in associativedenotative aspect to euphemism. The gender approach in linguistic research provides new data on language and its functioning, in particular, it concerns the language tools used to build gender identity, as well as the influence of gender on the choice of certain lexical units. It is emphasized that gender as a sociolinguistic category is correlated with the universal and gender levels within a certain language.The study has a historical, socio-cultural and political dimension, as it attempts to describe the impact of language policy, culture and historical context that prevailed in Ukrainian society during this period, on the development, formation and functioning of the analyzed stylistic figures. The analysis of the data shows a clear prevalence of dysphemisms in the works of the authors studied. Moreover, we note that the majority of entries belongs to the familiar and vulgar register from different sociolects (jargon and argo elements). The study of euphemisms and dysphemisms brings to light the representations of men and women which prevailed at certain times and persist in Ukrainian society today.uk
