Анотація
Reliable detection and recognition of artificial objects against complex backgrounds require the use of multiple information sources. Recently, developers have shown growing interest in combining thermal images with maps of the degree of linear polarization of objects’ self-emission. This makes it possible to distinguish artificial objects against natural backgrounds. A mandatory stage of information processing in such dual-channel systems is data fusion.
