The master's thesis investigates the energy parameters of the installation for implementing the electrohydraulic effect, developed to function as an innovative hydrodynamic destroyer for humanitarian demining. The work bridges the gap between the theoretical calculation of pulse discharge parameters and the practical engineering of a system capable of neutralizing landmines without detonation. In the first chapter, various humanitarian demining methods are reviewed, including manual, canine, and mechanical techniques. The analysis identifies the main challenges of conventional approaches, such as high operational costs and safety risks, justifying the development of a system that applies the electrohydraulic effect to generate a controlled hydrodynamic pulse for safe mine destruction. The second chapter presents the system design of the installation. It details the selection of structural components specifically the high-voltage power supply, capacitor bank, and electrode chamber required to implement the electrohydraulic effect. The focus is on optimizing the energy storage and release mechanisms to transform electrical energy into a high-velocity liquid jet capable of disabling mines from a safe distance. In the third chapter, analytical modeling and numerical simulations are performed to substantiate the installation's energy parameters. Mathematical models describe the transient processes of the electric discharge. Through theoretical analysis and verification in SolidWorks Flow Simulation, the critical parameters were determined is a discharge energy of 40 kJ, a stabilized voltage of approximately 24,000 V, and a resulting jet velocity of 1186 m/s. These parameters are confirmed to be sufficient for effective mine neutralization while maintaining operational safety . The startup section provides recommendations for the commercialization of the developed technology, highlighting its economic advantages over heavy mechanical demining systems.
dc.description.abstractotherАнотація (укр.)
