The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and chatbots into English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses for engineering students presents both promising opportunities and notable challenges. In the era of rapid technological advancement, the field of education is undergoing significant transformation. Among these changes is the incorporation of AI and chatbot technologies into language learning environments, particularly in ESP for engineering students. These tools offer the potential to provide personalized, immediate, and context-specific
support, aligning well with the technical and communication needs of future engineers. However, their integration also raises concerns that must be carefully considered.
