dc.description.abstractCurrent paper considers the features of managing the economic development of the enterprise in current business conditions and proposes a situational management mechanism of adaptive economic development of energy generating enterprises in conditions of economic instability. Such a mechanism allows making qualitative and timely management decisions. It also allows estimation of strategic alternatives of the type of improvement and formation of an effective management trajectory. The situational management mechanism of the adaptive economic development of the enterprise should be aimed at achieving certain objectives by influencing the main development areas of the enterprise. This influence should be materialized through the use of selected resources and subject to the coherence of all elements of the mechanism of situational management of adaptive economic development. Application of the mechanism will contribute to reducing the energy intensity of electricity production and reducing of non-production costs of fuel and energy resources, optimizing the production and using of fuel and energy resources, ensuring environmental safety and maintaining environmental balance, modernizing and reconstructing of production facilities, freeing up funds for innovation without attracting investment.
