dc.description.abstractenRelevance of research. Today, one of the key directions in the energy sector is to increase the adaptability of management, expand and deepen the coordination of stages, tools and control systems of electric power systems (EPS). The main provisions of the system of monitoring and modes forecasting and their management, as well as the issues of short-term forecasting of mode parameters with use of modern information technologies are currently being investigated. The development of electric power systems and changes in the conditions of their operation have led to transformations in the structure of systems and modes of their operation. Such modifications are due to: decentralization of electricity supply in connection with the expansion of the use of distributed generation sources, restructuring of the electricity sector, scaling up and expansion of the territories served. All these factors significantly complicate the modes of operation of the power system, increase their dynamism and unpredictability, increase the risk of possible accidents. Therefore, there is a need to improve and develop the principles and systems of management of EPS modes. Such circumstances led to the emergence of the Smart Grid concept. This concept is often associated with the integration of renewable energy sources into electricity systems, as well as with a distributed electricity grid using information technology in distributed power supply and energy management systems. Relationship of work with scientific programs, plans, topics. The research performed in the work corresponds to the direction of «energy and energy efficiency» of the Law of Ukraine №2519-VI dated 09.09.2010 «On the priority areas of science and technology». The study was performed in accordance with the plan of scientific work of Power Supply Department of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in the framework of the most important areas of basic and applied research: «Methods for managing the production, transmission, distribution, conversion and consumption of electricity. Energy efficiency management». Purpose and tasks of the research. Apply the concept of demand side management and dynamic tariffication to efficiency improvement of management in Microgrid, assessment of the level of losses with identification of the effects of the components of suboptimality in the power supply system, determination of the volume of primary fuel consumption. Object of the research. The process of implementing dynamic tariffication and electricity demand side management concept in Microgrid systems. Subject of the research. Methods and means of optimizing the unevenness of electricity consumption processes and determining the cost and volume of primary fuel consumption. Practical value of the obtained results. It consists in determining the suboptimal operation of the Microgrid system from uneven electricity consumption and optimization of load schedules with minimization of the cost and volume of primary fuel consumption. The information base of the research consist of scientific works of ukrainian and foreign scientists. The thesis used software such as MS Excel. Scientific novelty of the obtained results. A method for estimating the level of electricity losses and fuel consumption from uneven consumption to optimize electricity consumption and fuel consumption is proposed, as well as to compare the level of losses in optimal and suboptimal modes of operation.uk
