Анотація
The paper analyzes the impact of environmental temperature variations on the optical performance of long-wave infrared (LWIR) medical thermal imaging systems. It explores how thermally induced defocus, driven by the thermo-optic effect and expansion, degrades image sharpness and reduces diagnostic reliability. The study compares active and passive athermalization methods, emphasizing the advantages of passive optical stabilization for medical applications. Ultimately, passive design guidelines are proposed to ensure stable image quality across operating temperatures.
