Anti-Alcohol Movement among Ukrainian peasants of Halychyna (at the end of the 19th – 30’s of the 20th century)(КПІ ім. Ігоря Сікорського, 2024) Drohobytska, O.The Anti-Alcohol Movement among Ukrainian peasants of Halychyna at the end of the 19th century and the 1930’s is analyzed in the article. To present a nar-rative on the topic, the author extensively employed field studies and memoirs, enabling readers to examine the problem from the perspective of contemporar-ies. This topic is highly relevant, particularly with the onset of the full-scale Rus-sian-Ukrainian war amidst the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, which has led to a noticeable increase in alcohol consumption in Ukraine. The research utilized general scientific and special scientific methods, includ-ing field research. The author aims to demonstrate various methods of combating alcohol addiction within rural communities in Halychyna and to evaluate their effectiveness. The author emphasizes the significant role of personal influence within the anti-alcohol movement, particularly the authority of leaders who pro-moted sobriety. At the end of the 19th century, Greek-Catholic priests took a lead-ing role in the anti-alcohol campaign. To minimize alcohol consumption, some priests resorted to various, at times quite uncompromising, measures.Later, during the interwar period, teachers, members of youth organizations, and public activists were also actively involved in the anti-alcohol movement. To promote sobriety and a healthy lifestyle, members of the rural intelligentsia arranged missions featuring symbolic burials of horilka, sobriety brotherhoods, local assemblies, and public plebiscites. Oaths of abstinence from alcohol proved to be effective in influencing religious peasants. Reading rooms were established to counteract korchmas, and in many cases, anti-alcohol actions were combined with measures aimed at supporting Ukrainian shops and products. The author analyzed local folklore regarding the achievements of the anti-al-cohol movement. Collective farm markets and fairs in the activities of consumer cooperation of the Ukrainian SSR in the second half of the 20th century(КПІ ім. Ecological urban planning of Ukrainian cities in the late 19th early 20th cent.: tram traffic and research in the field of electric traction (To The 130th Anniversary Of The 1st Electric Tram In Ukraine)(КПІ ім. Ігоря Сікорського, 2022) Tverytnykova, Е.; Gutnyk, M.; Salata, H.The main goal of the study is to reveal the peculiarities of the emergence and formation of the tram system, as well as to outline the impact of using this type of urban transport on the urbanization of Ukrainian cities in the late 19th — early 20th cent. It is claimed that this type of transport was and still remains the most environmentally friendly. The forerunner of the electric tram — horse-drawn — had several significant shortcomings: its introduction was limited by the terrain and the life expectancy of the animal. Further attempts to use the steam engine were also unsuccessful. The creation of the electric tram expanded the use of public transport. Belgian companies played a significant role in the introduction of tram transport in Ukraine. The popularity of electric trams contributed to further research in the field of electric traction and the construction of tram cars, as well as the design of cities in general. A number of Ukrainian scientists played a remarkable role in the development of tramways, such as Fedir Pirotskyi, Hryhorii Dubelir, Pavlo Kopniaiev, Oleksandr Pohorelko, Ivan Nekrasov, Oleksandr Potebnia, and others. Nowadays, the research on public transport and a thorough analysis of the extensive use of trams are particularly important in the face of environmental problems in large cities of Ukraine. Effect Of Euro-Integration Processes On The Agricultural Sector Of The Economy Of Bulgaria(КПІ ім. Ігоря Сікорського, 2023) Perga, Iu.; Pashov, R.; Makhno, O.The article examines the challenges encountered by democratic institutions in the 1920s, focusing particularly on the Second Polish Republic. It delves into the tactics employed by communist forces to maneuver around restrictions on their activities by leveraging democratic processes for their advantage. Ukrainian communities in the Chelm and Podlasie regions are central to this analysis, as they became primary targets for communist infiltration and subversion of democratic mechanisms. The study investigates the conversion of organizational branches into covert cells of the Communist Party of Western Ukraine, the reconfiguration of a newspaper into a tool for political propaganda, and the influence over local opinion to facilitate the election of pro-communist officials in the Sejm and Senate of the Republic of Poland. This article sheds light on the intricate dynamics of Ukrainian political involvement during this period and its broader implications for understanding the challenges faced by democratic institutions. Formation of ukrainian displaced persons (DPs) in post-war Bavaria, 1945–1947(КПІ ім. Ігоря Сікорського, 2024) Kokosh, A.The modern world has encountered a problem of displaced persons and refugees. Due to wars and military conflicts, many people from all over the world are moving to European and American countries in search of places to live. DP status is one of the questions that European politicians try to resolve. However, this problem is not new for Europe. After World War II, European countries had already encountered DPs, organizing aid for them in social, economic, and other fields. The example of Ukrainians in Bavaria represents one of the DP conditions in post-war Europe. The aim of this paper is to analyse the position of Ukrainian DPs in post-war Bavaria from 1945–1947, as well as to characterize the main social conditions DPs faced there. This paper is based on documents that provide information about the main DP camps, aid organizations, and routes taken by Ukrainians to Bavaria. The lack of modern research on DPs after World War II confirms its relevance and emphasizes its novelty. Moreover, this article provides a basis for comparing the problem of Ukrainian DPs then and now in Europe. Therefore, the author aims to demonstrate in this article that Ukrainians were not repatriated because of their social activity. Taking into consideration the Ukrainian position in DP camps regarding education, the healthcare system, and other social fields, the article explains the reality of Ukrainian life in Bavaria. The conclusion of this article demonstrates that despite their DP status, Ukrainians in Bavaria began forming as a national minority after World War II. 2023) Kushlakova, N.; Savchuk, V.From the earliest days of Ukraine’s independence, issues of military security became relevant, and in contemporary conditions, the problems of strengthening its defense capabilities have taken precedence. The experience of creating and operating the leading enterprises in Ukraine’s defense industry over the last century can be instructive. One such enterprise is the Pavlograd Mechanical Plant (PMP), which includes a test range. Using selected theoretical and methodological tools, a historical reconstruction of the birth and the initial years of the Pavlograd Artillery Test Range has been conducted. Based on original sources, the primary tasks of the range were identified as conducting control tests of ammunition. The study revealed that during that time, there was no educational institution, whether civilian or military, that trained managers for ranges. Consequently, almost all range management personnel were military individuals who gained relevant experience through direct practical activities. The research covers some episodes of the lives of the first chiefs of the Pavlograd range. The pre-war period’s activity of the range has been examined, and its effectiveness has been evaluated using two main indicators: the number of shots fired and the duration of testing one batch of a certain type of ammunition. In 1938, the Pavlograd Artillery Range attained the status of a branch for testing aviation ammunition. On the eve of World War II, it was found that the range generally met modern requirements and successfully tested ammunition. The Pavlograd Artillery Test Range, the first and only one in Ukraine in the 1930’s, was proven to be a powerful test base of the USSR. In terms of workload and efficiency, it significantly surpassed similar operational ranges of that time, such as Sofrinskii, Chapayevskii, and Uralskii. The Formation Of Inclusive Education In The Context Of The Modernization Of Secondary Schools In Contemporary Ukraine(КПІ ім.
