Анотація

The article provides a systematic review of the training systems for early childhood development and preschool education specialists in Nordic countries (Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark). The general requirements for educational programs, qualifications, the relationship between theory and practice, key pedagogical approaches (inclusion, and research), as well as modern challenges related to staff shortages, reforms, and the need for continuous professional development are considered. The methodology includes an analysis of official documents, Eurydice reports, and web resources of specialized higher education institutions. It is outlined that modern Nordic countries are distinguished by high-quality educational programs for training future specialists in the preschool sector and early childhood development, successfully combining academic education with practice, where cognitive and social development are considered complementary and equally important.
