dc.description.abstractСтаттю присвячено аналізу сутності та виокремленню особливостей самоосвіти студентів у процесі їхньої професійної підготовки упродовж навчання у вищому навчальному закладі. Наведено основні етапи самоосвіти студентів та розглянуто умови їхньої самоосвітньої діяльності. Акцентовано на важливості даного виду роботи у професійному становленні, розширенні горизонтів навчальної і професійної підготовки, уможливленні змішування різних форм і методів навчання (традиційних та новітніх) у межах однієї дисципліни та на рівні спеціальності. Наголошено на важливості інтеграції масових відкритих онлайн-курсів в освітній процес.uk
dc.description.abstractotherThe article is devoted to the analysis of the essence and determination of the peculiarities of students’ self-education during their professional training at higher educational establishment. Self-education is defined as a systematic and conscious independent activity of students aimed at acquiring and developing professional knowledge and skills, improving cultural and educational levels. The effectiveness of students’ self-education depends on their needs, motives, self-awareness and readiness for active, purposeful and systematic independent work. The author describes the main stages of the process of self-education such as goal setting, work planning, organization, practical implementation of the self-education program, self-control, self-assessment and self-correction. The most effective forms of students’ self-education are described. It is stressed that the role of a teacher is to build a cooperative learning environment, facilitate students’ initiatives for learning and help students to develop self-directed learning skills. Special attention is paid to the conditions of students’ self-educational activity. The importance of such type of work in the professional development, broadening educational and professional training horizons, making it possible to mix different forms and methods of education (traditional and innovative) within the limits of one subject and at the level of the specialty are highlighted. The importance and necessity of massive open online courses integration into educational process are emphasized. The benefits of massive open online courses in students’ self-education are outlined.uk
