Анотація
Assessment practices, including individual and group marking, are subject to biases, such as gender and family status. This study explored the impact of these factors on marking consistency and accuracy. Data were collected by dividing answer scripts among five groups and analyzing one set using AI tools (Bard and ChatGPT). Results revealed significant differences in marking, with AI-generated scores being lower than humanassigned scores. This highlights the limitations of AI in capturing nuanced understanding. To address these issues, a combination of human and AI assessment, along with robust marking schemes, can be employed to improve the fairness and accuracy of evaluations.
