Designing fully autonomous aircraft requires the detailed analysis of both environment and internal state of the drone. Complex information must be convenient for making decisions, that will move drone forward to completing the pre-defined task. One of the most important data, that is difficult to obtain, is propeller`s fault detection. This article analyses the method of detecting the propellers` damages, that is working on IMU measurement. Advantages and disadvantages of the approach are discussed.
