Анотація
Materials science is very important in the training of engineers who will be designers and technologists in the aerospace industry. Understanding the processes of forming the properties of materials depending on their structure, chemical composition, and treatment techniques will provide an opportunity to perform work at a high level. On the other hand, the application of acquired knowledge in the field of aviation materials science will improve the control of the quality of the released products and the ability to determine compliance with technical requirements.
The "Aerospace materials science: Laboratory Practice" study aid is written by the program (syllabus) of the "Aerospace Materials Science" subject for students under the educational programs "Aerospace and rocket systems engineering" and “Airplanes and Helicopters” specialty 134 Aviation and rocket-space technic. Besides the students of engineering specialties in the field of aviation and rocket science, the textbook will be useful for graduate students, researchers, and specialists of other technical specialties, whose activities are related to the selection of materials, etc.
