| dc.description.abstract | Актуальність дослідження. У сучасній лінгвістиці однією з актуальних тем є дослідження взаємовідносин між мовами, як одним із основних засобів передачі значень і соціокультурної реальності. Серед багатьох проблем, які досліджує сучасна лінгвістика, важливе місце посідає вивчення лінгвістичних аспектів міжмовної мовленнєвої діяльності, яку називають «перекладом» або «перекладацькою діяльністю». Саме завдяки перекладу ми маємо доступ до систем значень інших культур, які за допомогою перекладачів набувають свого тлумачення. Переклад — це правильний і зрозумілий переказ висловленого однією мовою засобами іншої мови. У галузі теорії перекладу певні поняття досліджувалися з широкого спектру точок зору, і їм було присвоєно безліч ярликів. Через плутанину використання понять і термінів ми прагнемо представити та визначити найважливіші з них, якими оперує теорія перекладу, такі як: процедура перекладу, стратегія перекладу, метод перекладу, техніка перекладу та трансформація перекладу. Також у цій роботі ми обговорюємо типи перекладу, його цілі та труднощі, з якими перекладачі стикаються в процесі перекладу. Новизна дослідження полягає в тому, що в центрі уваги – переклад наукових текстів з англійської мови українською розглядається з точки зору адекватності обраної стратегії татактика перекладу. Мета дослідження полягає у висвітленні теоретичних положень перекладознавства, що формують мовленнєві навички та уміння проводити аналіз засобів передачі змісту оригіналу, а також трансформації вихідного тексту, яка відбуваються при його відтворенні мовою перекладу. Об’єктом дослідження є англомовні наукові тексти у контексті перекладу. Предмет дослідження – особливості перекладу наукових англомовних текстів. Досягнення поставленої мети передбачає розв’язання таких завдань: - висвітлити основні підходи перекладу сучасних англомовних наукових текстів; - охарактеризувати різновиди наукових текстів; - визначити специфіку перекладу наукових текстів з англійської мови на українську; - дослідити основні прийоми та підходи перекладу сучасних англомовних текстів; - охарактеризувати методологію перекладу сучасних англомовних текстів; - визначити методи перекладознавчого аналізу; - застосувати сучасні інструменти перекладу та перекладацьких тактик; - описати стилістичні та синтаксичні особливості перекладу наукових текстів; - проаналізувати тактику та стратегію перекладу обраних сучасних англомовних текстів; - виявити типові перекладацькі помилки і проблеми в обраних наукоивх текстах; - визначити основні перекладауькі тактики і стратегії в обраних перекладах; - описати методи перекладу наккоивих статей англомовного тексту українською мовою. Теоретична значущість роботи полягає у дослідженні найчастіше вживаних перекладацьких трансформацій у наукових текстах, у висвітленні основних підходів сучасних англомовних наукових текстів. Практична значущість полягає в аналізі прикладів використання перекладацьких трасформацій на основі наукових текстів. Апробація результатів дослідження відбувалась на VI Міжнародній науково-практичній конференції «Human problems and ways to solve them», 23-25 жовтня 2023 р., Рим, Італія та висвітлена у публікації «Особливості перекладу наукового тексту з англійської українською». Також було опубліковано статю «Стратегії перекладу термінів при перекладі англійських наукових текстів українською» у виданні, що входить до переліку фахових наукових видань України категорії «Б» (III Міжнародна науково-практична конференція “MODERN RESEARCH IN SCIENCE AND EDUCATION”, 9-11 листопада 2023, Чикаго, США). Робота складається зі вступу, трьох розділів з висновками до кожного з них, та загальних висновків. | |

In contemporary linguistics, one of the pertinent topics is the exploration of language interactions, considered as one of the primary means of conveying meanings and socio-cultural reality. Among the myriad issues investigated by modern linguistics, significant attention is devoted to the study of linguistic aspects of interlingual communicative activity, termed as "translation" or "translation activity." Through translation, we gain access to systems of meanings from other cultures, which acquire their interpretation through translators. Translation is the correct and understandable rendering of expressions from one language into another. In the field of translation theory, certain concepts have been explored from a wide range of perspectives, each assigned numerous labels. Due to the confusion in the usage of concepts and terms, we aim to present and define the most important ones used in translation theory, such as translation procedure, translation strategy, translation method, translation technique, and translation transformation. Additionally, in this work, we discuss types of translation, its objectives, and the challenges translators encounter during the translation process. The novelty of the research lies in focusing on the translation of scientific texts from English into Ukrainian from the perspective of the adequacy of the chosen translation strategy and tactics. The aim of the study is to elucidate the theoretical principles of translation studies, which shape linguistic skills and abilities to analyze means of conveying the content of the original as well as transformations of the source text that occur during its reproduction in the target language. The object of the study is English-language scientific texts in the context of translation. The subject of the study is the peculiarities of translating scientific English-language texts. To achieve the set goal involves addressing the following tasks: - highlighting the main approaches to translating modern English-language scientific texts; - characterizing varieties of scientific texts; - determining the specificity of translating scientific texts from English into Ukrainian; - investigating the main techniques and approaches to translating modern English-language texts; - characterizing the methodology of translating modern English-language texts; - identifying methods of translation analysis; - applying modern translation tools and translation tactics; - describing stylistic and syntactic features of translating scientific texts; - analyzing the tactics and strategy of translating selected modern English-language texts; - identifying typical translation mistakes and problems in selected scientific texts; - determining the main translation tactics and strategies in selected translations; - describing methods of translating scientific articles from English into Ukrainian. The theoretical significance of the work lies in the examination of the most commonly used translation transformations in scientific texts and in elucidating the main approaches to modern English-language scientific texts. The practical significance lies in the analysis of examples of using translation transformations based on scientific texts. The results of the research were presented at the VI International Scientific-Practical Conference "Human Problems and Ways to Solve Them," October 23-25, 2023, Rome, Italy, and published in the article "Features of Translating Scientific Text from English into Ukrainian." Additionally, the paper "Translation Strategies of Terms in Translating English Scientific Texts into Ukrainian" was published in a journal listed among the professional scientific publications of Ukraine category "B" (III International Scientific-Practical Conference "Modern Research in Science and Education," November 9-11, 2023, Chicago, USA). The master's thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters with conclusions for each, and general conclusions. | |
