It is noted that the effectiveness of a lawyer's activity depends on his ability to quickly and clearly respond to practical problems, professionally solve them, analyze and evaluate them. The skills and abilities that each person acquires in the process of learning, and then improves the flow of life - to be able to ask relevant questions, build proofs, draw analogies, put forward hypotheses, explain are presented. It is emphasized that "Critical thinking" is an individual's ability to unbiasedly know and feel the surrounding reality, to go beyond traditional frameworks and possibilities of world perception. We consider the process of developing critical thinking in English language classes and present the main skills that can be introduced.Документ Відкритий доступ Development of law students’ soft skills while working in the teams(2022) Борковська, Інна ПилипівнаIt has been proven that one of the important tasks of modern education is the introduction of modern approaches to training and organization of educational activities in the training of future specialists. Among such approaches, an important role is played by teamwork of students on various tasks, projects, the subject of which is related to real professional activity. All advantages of teamwork are considered: formation of self-confidence due to receiving support and positive evaluation from other team members; preparing students for further professional activities, their ability to solve complex tasks; searching and finding creative and innovative solutions to a complex problem; encouraging students to think critically, to listen to each other; development of professional and global skills, such as conflict resolution and negotiation skills, communication skills. Analyzing the technologies of interactive learning, the possibilities of the development of "soft skills" in the process of learning a foreign language were considered, using the following groups of technologies of interactive learning: interactive technologies of cooperative learning, interactive technologies of collective and group learning, technologies of situational modeling, technologies of processing discussion issues.Документ Відкритий доступ Development of presentation skills and their role in the formation of soft skills among law students(Дрогобич, 2022) Borkovska, Inna; Antonenko, Inna; Kozubska, IrynaThe article examines the development of presentation skills and their role in the formation of soft skills among law students. The need to shift emphasis in favor of soft skills in the process of teaching law students has been determined. The most in-demand skills of the future have been summarized, which also include presentation skills that contribute to the development of creativity, successful teamwork and critical thinking. Justifying the importance of the formation of soft skills in the process of learning English, the role of presentation as a powerful educational tool has been discussed. The essence of the concept of "presentational skills of future lawyers" has been determined and their classification has been presented. A method of two-stage formation of presentation skills of undergraduate law students has been proposed. The key aspects of the first stage have been highlighted – sufficient formation of students' verbal foreign language skills, preparation of presentations as a monologue, evaluation of the presentation according to such parameters as: information content of the presentation, the principle of minimalism and the quality of the performance.Документ Відкритий доступ Development of students’ "soft skills" while reading professional texts(2022) Борковська, Інна ПилипівнаThe problem of forming student’s soft skills such as creativity, ability to learn, analytical thinking, critical thinking during the English lessons has been presented. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the concept of "soft skills" and the importance of these skills in the modern world. The stages of working with the text based on the technology of the flipped class when the above-mentioned communication skills are formed have been considered. The requirements for inclusive education are presented. The present study was aimed to investigate the self-realization of the individual, as a future component of success. The author proposes to consider inclusive education as one in which: 1) people of different age groups; 2) people who speak different languages; 3) people who have different types of perception of information. The principles that will provide an analysis of the components of strategic planning and help in addressing issues of inclusive education in particular are explored.
